Humour or Looks
Hi,
Firstly congratulations to Yummymummy on winning the best comment on a blog this week - lads check out what she has to say - I think she makes a really good point.
The poll we ran last week was about which was more important to you when looking for a partner - Humour or Looks, at the start of the week humour was winning at about 90% to 10% but this changed slightly as the week went on and the final result was 77% feel humour is more important and 23% would prefer looks. I think the reality is that the looks will attract you in the first place but the humour is what will keep you interested and coming back for more!.
This weeks poll is about dumping people - "Would you ever dump someone by Text?" I look forward to seeing the results of that one next week.

Guess the humour vs looks debate isnt an either/or situation...but have to say humour goes a long way towards upping someones attractiveness rating...someone who's really not all that much to look at can go WAY up in your estimation if they can make you laugh...likewise, Mr Adonis of the Flowing Locks and Fine Tuned Pecs will quickly lose his gloss if he turns out to be dull as dishwater Mr No Sense of Humour....think humour is a real sign of intelligence and good character....just goes to show you cant judge all that much from a profile picture - really have to meet someone in person to see if you have any shared chemistry and being able to share a laugh goes a long way towards getting some chemistry going. Having said that, if your date is 4 ft 2 and has been chasing parked cars & received a fair battering with the ugly stick...then bless them but no matter how hilarious they are, the jokes can be firing all night but at the end of the date when they climb that stepladder for the good-night kiss...its safe to say you wont be hanging around for the encore.
