Writing Messages to win hearts
Are you one of those people that sends the same old introduction message out to lots of people, every day, in the belief that "if you fling enough mud some will stick"? Perhaps one or two people do respond to you this week but the I bet your respond rate is really low.
I often hear people complain that they sent tonnes of messages and got very few replies. Well try it this way instead. Do a search, read the profiles and find ones that genuinely appeal to you. Then send them a message that refers to their profile and what you have in common.
So, for example, if a girl says she loves dogs, don't just say that you love dogs too - that's just an unsubstantiated fact - tell a story about a dog you have or used to have. Tell her the dog's name, what he looks like, what he likes to do.
If a guy says he likes football tell him about your favourite team, why you like it, any matches you have been to.
What I'm saying is back up your facts with feelings. It is not enough to state something you have give a little more.
And the more you give the more you get back - in spades.

I think you geniunely don't know what you're talking about.
I've done a great deal of experimenting; good messages get no more frequent responses than generic messages.. they simply take longer to write.
