The mysterious type wins

The result of last weeks poll is that 66% of you would rather go out with someone shy and quiet rather than someone loud and outgoing. So being the life and soul of the party might get you plenty of attention and friendships but it won't help you in the dating game. Being quiet and mysterious it seems is far more appealing to the opposite sex. So if you're the loud outgoing type try dumbing down a bit and see what happens!
Congratulations to JPD who won the best comment last week for her observations on dilating pupils!

In case any of you missed it MaybeFriends.com featured on Dave Fanning last week both myself and Jenny - one of our brides to be were interviewed - here's the link: http://www.rte.ie/arts/2008/0508/drivetimewithdave.html

I look forward to reading your comments this week and as always best comment of the week wins a months free membership on MaybeFriends.com - Great People. Great Friends. Great Dates.

The shy quiet type can be mysterious......but also remem, shy and quiet can also mean axe murderer! Or Pshyco stalker....lol Only kiddin.
But Seriously, while shy and quiet can be good it can also be very hard to get to know them. I know myself I can have my shy moments.....unbelievable as that may sound....but it can be hard to strike up a conversation with the shy type esp when you're the shy type yourself! So, while I do see the appeal of the 'shy and quiet' mysterious dude in the corner, sometimes you need to take that leap and come out of yourselves just a little and be a little more outspoken. I know when I was at my shyest some people did make the comment to me afterwards they did find it a little hard to try and start up a conversation with me! I dont mean you have to be the life and soul of the party or ott in any way, but just take that leap of faith and try to be a little more chatty and outgoing....you will be surprised how many more good friends you will make as a result! I know thats how it went for me..........Tazzie
