Getting the timing right!

dating in Ireland, dating site, start dating, timing

Choosing the right time to start dating after the break up of a long term relationship or having been out of the scene for a while is always tough. There can sometimes be unanswered questions, what ifs and the fear of simply moving on.

The fact is that some relationships just aren’t meant to be. The romance fizzles out, the sparks stop flying and you find yourself in a rut that neither you nor your partner have the will or the energy to dig your way out of.

The average person experiences 2 major break ups in their lifetime. When things are at their lowest and you feel alone in the world, statistics tells us that an average of 531,024 people across the globe will have experienced a break up that very same day. So don’t feel as if you’re the only one going through the same hurt and pain!

With over half a million people ‘moving on’ every day, the question is, just how soon after a break-up is the right time to start dating again.

Celebrity culture, the internet and television have brought other people’s lives into our front rooms in the recent era. No doubt the pressures of the media and living your life under the watchful eye of the public would put a strain on any relationship but it is interesting to read the stories of celebrity make ups and break ups and how they relate to our own lives.

After 4 years of marriage, Peter Andre recently split with his wife, model Katie Price. However, only weeks after their massive public falling out, Andre has been pictured with former Celebrity Big Brother winner, Chantelle Hughton. Andre has been public in saying that there is nothing happening between the pair and it has been claimed that he has taken a vow of celibacy during divorce proceedings. However, Hughton has been pictured at Andre’s home attending a birthday party for his daughter, Tiamii.

Of course, everyone is different. All relationships end in different ways and for different reasons and when there are children involved, it may be more difficult to even think about finding someone new.

The most important thing is that you do what is best for you. If that means taking the time to think about things and slowly getting back into the dating scene then fine, there are plenty other newly single people today, there will be more tomorrow and there will be even more when the time is right for you.   |  MWebDev Ltd   |  47 O'Connell Street   |  Limerick   |
