Friends v's Dates - why do we have different criteria?
Why is it that when we make friends with someone of the same sex it is to do with the fact that we like them and generally we have something in common, but when we are searching for a date that could lead to a life long partnership we look at a whole different set of criteria?
I don't care what my friends look like, how big their bank balance is or where they were educated and, more than likely, we'll be friends for life. So why on earth do we make instant decisions on a potential partner based on these things? - it just doesn't make sense.
I think you should give everyone a chance. Don't make instant decisions on them - get to know them and then decide whether you like them or not but an informed decision is far better than a shallow one based on physical features and potential earnings.
